Rikke Toft Nørgård is an Associate Professor in Educational Design & Technology at The Danish School of Education, Aarhus University, where she is also Steering group member of Centre for Higher Education Futures (CHEF). She is elected board member of the international Philosophy and Theory of Higher Education Society (PaTHES) and elected board member of the national Danish Network for Educational Development in Higher Education (DUN).
I sat down with Rikke and we discussed the true meaning of higher education and the challenges it has been through over the past two years. She shared more about her vision of a hybrid model. It is not a Hyflex one with online and physical delivery but something greater and dare I say a more significant change to the core meaning of universities, its position and purpose in society and for the individual student.
This October, Rikke will be headlining EDUtech Europe 2022. She’ll be sharing more about hybrid education and digital pedagogy in a post-pandemic world, the re-imagining of institutional frameworks, educational development, and teaching practices. You will not want to miss out on this and many more intriguing sessions, so register now!
