Schools, like every other organisation, have emergency response plans drawn out ahead of time. However, it is all theory until a crisis strikes. The unknown unknowns, how can you prepare for a scenario without knowing what's in front of you?

Across the world, entire school communities have had to keep up with daily changes that have occurred and get filtered down to schools. A myriad of different factors and practices come into play when facing an emergency. Long term strategic programmes that you did not expect to come into play may work in your favour and lend a helping hand in the face of an emergency.
