“Women numerically dominate the education landscape; senior management are predominantly men.” Organisations across different industries are facing the reality of real diversity and inclusion shortcomings in their workforce. For the academic community, it’s a bigger question? Educators across all different levels, across different countries are predominantly female, but why are female leaders few and far between?
How can women be given equal opportunities to assume leadership roles in the education community? How can today’s institutions put in place practices that promote diversity and gender equality?
